I bought a very interesting book about spindle spinning, and was tempted to spin some leftovers. I am (again) surprised about how fast this basic tool spinns!

To spin yarn for a cardigan I dyeed 1 kg eiderwol. I started with cyan and magenta, but the roving turned out too green and not enough purple. I decided to dye one half again in blue, and the other half in purple. I quiet like the result, allthough I consdider using a bit of brown and grey as well next time I want these colors…
