1 November 2007 | Filed Under *Journal quilts | 12 CommentsFor the past several years Quilts, inc. organized an exhibit of journal quilts during Quilt Festival in Houston. The size of a journal page measured 8.5 x 11 inch. This is the last year the journal quilt project will run. The dimensions are 22 x 17 inch. 2007 is the first year I participate in the project. My quilt is a combination of felt and handdyed fabric. The piece is quilted by hand and machine, and is embellished with beads. It is an impression of winter.
I love the soft colors. Purples, Blues and Greens are my favorite. Your use of line creates wonderful texture. I would have to say this is one of my favorites!!
